An original horizontal oil on canvas by Pascal Cucaro, born in Ohio in 1915. Cucaro's summers working in the circus inspired his lifelong fascination with clowns and circus life, vividly reflected in his work. During WWII, he created sketches and watercolors while traveling with the Army, later studying art in Europe. This painting showcases his bold brushstrokes and vibrant colors, emblematic of his larger studio works. Known for his versatility, Cucaro also explored lithography and enamel on copper, with a range of styles from Abstract to Pop Art.
