Sight Height 15 in., Width 11.25 in. Framed Height 24.75 in., Width 20.5 in. Signed lower right, numbered 29/35 lower left. This screenprint by Victor Vasarely depicts a golfer at the moment of a full swing, rendered entirely in the artists signature pixelated grid language with the figure composed of interlocking blue, ochre, purple and dark brown squares against a geometric blue and green ground. The human form is dissolved into a mosaic of color blocks, creating a dynamic sense of movement and optical vibration characteristic of Vasarelys Op Art practice. A single white golf ball at the lower center of the composition anchors the figure to the ground plane, providing a focal point of stillness against the kinetic energy of the surrounding grid. The work is pencil signed by the artist in the lower right margin and carries an edition number in the lower left, presented in a black lacquer frame with layered grey mat. The impression is in excellent condition with vivid, unfaded colors and no visible foxing or surface damage.
