Sight Height 10 in., Width 8 in., Framed Height 14 in., Width 12 in. Rodney Marshall Winfield was a highly collected painter, sculptor, metalsmith, and designer known for surrealist, iconographic works. As a young man, he studied music and later moved his focus to fine art, attendeding Cooper Union School of Art in New York City. Winfield taught at Maryville University in St. Louis and designed for Emil Frei Associates. Upon retirement in 1970, Winfield relocated to Carmel, California, where he continued his prolific creations.
