Sight Height 20 in., Width 19.25 in. Framed Height 26.5 in., Width 25.75. Pencil signed lower right, numbered 53/150. French artist Max Papart is best known for his depictions of cheerful subjects in a Cubist style. His work is often filled with textured surfaces paired with strong composition and bold colors. Some of the collections in which Paparts work can be found include the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, Musee dArt Moderne de la Ville de Paris, the High Museum of Art, and the National Gallery in London.
