Height 19.75 in., Width 12.5 in., Depth 7 in. Signed, dated, numbered 62/200 on underside. Louis Red von Koelnau was known for his vibrant polyresin sculptures, most especially his bear-themed pieces. In addition to his animal and people sculptures, he also created abstract pieces that focused on unique non-organic shapes and bold polyresin colors. Koelnau spent twenty years acquiring the technical skills and expertise to learn how to use and control polyresin.
