Sight Height 16 in., Width 12 in. Framed Height 24.75 in., Width 20.5 in. Signed lower right, numbered 182/260 lower left. This screenprint by Erte, born Romain de Tirtoff, depicts an urban promenade scene in the artists signature Art Deco graphic style, featuring an oversized high-heeled boot and an elegantly linear female figure dominating the foreground against a cobalt blue and chocolate brown ground. Small-scale pedestrian figures animate the middle distance, set against stylized trees rendered in blue, white and green, creating the dramatic play of scale that is a hallmark of Ertes compositional language. The work employs a refined palette of cobalt blue, chocolate brown, olive green and white, with the flat color blocking and sinuous line work that defined Ertes influential contributions to 20th century decorative and graphic arts. The impression is numbered 180/200 in pencil at the lower left margin and carries the artists pencil signature at the lower right, presented in a silver gilt frame with cream mat and brown fillet. The sheet is in excellent condition with strong, unfaded colors and no visible foxing or surface damage to the impression.
