Height 10 in., Width 14 in., Depth 3 in. Early 19th-century Japanese Imari porcelain plate in an unusual fish-form silhouette, dating to the Edo period, circa 1810. The finely hand-painted decoration features mirrored fish with detailed scales and expressive eyes, surrounded by stylized floral and foliate motifs. Executed in rich cobalt underglaze blue on a white ground, the design demonstrates strong symmetry and refined brushwork characteristic of early Imari ware. The sculptural fish-shaped form enhances its visual appeal, making it both a functional ceramic and decorative display piece. A fine example of Japanese blue and white porcelain from the Edo period, desirable for collectors of Imari ware and Asian ceramics.

Great.
