Sight height 21 in, width 27.5 in, Frame height 15.5 in, width 22.5 in. Pablo Picasso Dove of Peace is a lithograph created in 1949, a lithograph that became a prominent symbol of peace. The dove, initially a realistic depiction of a pigeon was chosen as the emblem for the First International Peace Conference in Paris in 1949. Framed drawing of a dove with olive branch, signed Picasso and dated 28.12.61. The drawing is executed in black ink on paper. The frame is silver-toned with a blue mat.
Condition
Good condition. The work is framed and glazed. The paper has age toning. Not examined out of frame.
