Luzon artwork was inspired by his interest in archaeology. His original oil paintings encompass a use of bold shades of color like red, blue, green and orange with contrasting black figural images. This piece is a mixed media painting on canvas with acrylic and a heavy impasto oil paint technique. This mid-century painting by Luzon is heavily textured graphic-design and part of the Trojan Horse series. Painted on stretched canvas in a Brutalist style.
