The Knights of the Cauliflower Ear was aSt. Louis based group, initially led by August A. Gussie Busch, as an organization of sportsmen and professionals with a fondness for boxing and the term cauliflower ear (a condition caused by a boxer ear injury).The Knights hosted dinners, including one in celebration of Senator Harry S. Truman nomination for Vice President. The programs include, 1950 Golden Gloves Finals at the Chase Hotel Presidential Appointment of Hon. Robert E. Hannegan as Commissioner of the Internal Revenue, 1943 Annual Baseball Inaugural Dinner, 1950 at the Chase Hotel and a Welcome Dinner for Herold Muddy Ruel.
