Height 8.25 in., Width 4.25 in., Depth 3.25 in. Weight 1 lb. 8 oz. This beautiful trophy-shaped vase (also referred to as a Tut vase) is hand-carved with designs featuring ribbons and plant life. Uranium glassware is highly collectible and was produced from the 1800s to the 1940s and was made by adding minute amounts of uranium to powdered glass before shaping the piece. When held under a UV light or blacklight, uranium glass is characterized by a bright, neon green glow. This glassware is safe to handle, although should not be used for food storage.
