Saarinen, known in St. Louis as the designer of the Gateway Arch, studied sculpture and design in Paris and New York. His first commercial acclaim came with the Tulip series through Knoll Design Group. This stool embodies the iconic design principles Saarinen is celebrated for and is a must-have for any Mid-Century Modern collection. Each piece includes an attached label of authenticity from Knoll.
