Total: width 127 in., height 31.75 in., panel: width 31.75 in., height 31.75 in. Thin black lacquer wood moulding, width .625 in. Edo Period Japanese 8 panel screen, ink and gold leaf on paper, textile borders, from the Kano School depicting warriors riding horses on far right panel, bridge and large pine tree in center panels, ceremonial scene with musicians on large stage with peacock in lower foreground, bridge in left panel with spectators watching scene upper left corner. Artist unknown. Condition: Fair, loose fabric and loss of gilding on edges. Minor water mark on exterior fabric cover, minor tear/indentation on outside paper, no perforation to screen surface.
